Alewine Pottery
Alewine Pottery is apart of the Great Smoky Mountains Arts and Crafts Community. It is along the historic 8-mile Glades Road Loop in Gatlinburg. Alewine is family-owned and has been operating since 1983. They have multiple showrooms and you’ll often find potters creating on the wheel right in front of you. Their signature designs feature multi glazing and leaf impressions with foliage that has been collected in the local mountains – how sweet is that? So this might be a good spot if you’re looking for a piece of the Smokies to take home with you.
The Great Smoky Mountains Arts and Crafts Community is full of potters, glass blowers, basket weavers, broom makers, and more so be sure to check them out while you’re there.
