Baker Arboretum & Downing Museum

The Baker Arboretum and Downing Museum make for an inspirational and peaceful morning or afternoon. Walk the paths, discover the fountains and outdoor sculptures. Journey through the museum as you learn about the life and view the work of Joe Downing, a native Kentuckian.
Both are located at 4801 Morgantown Road in Bowling Green, Kentucky. They are closed on Sunday, Monday and all national holidays. Their current schedule offers hours from 9 am to 5 pm for the arboretum, with the museum doors opening at 10 a.m. Both locations are free.
As well as housing the work of Joe Downing, there are also exhibitions from local, regional, and national visiting artists in the museum. The arboretum has 600 total species with over 1500 varieties, you will have much to see!
