Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm
Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm is so much more than just a pumpkin patch – it blew us away. It is located in Wheatland, California but it’s like its own separate little fall village. Think pumpkins, rides, giant slides, food, a petting zoo, a train, hayrides, pig races (so cute), a corn maze, cider, sunflowers, trivia, movie nights, and even more! And they somehow have it all while still feeling quaint.
Our most recent visit included a trip through the Dolly Parton themed corn maze fundraiser for the local Imagination Library, Quilt Fest, Alaskan pig races, and the cookies!
Our tips would be to visit during the week for less crowds (during/after sunset if you can – it’s even better), get the cookies from the cookie factory, check their socials for events you might want to attend, and try their famous Apple Cider Slushakie.
This one is definitely worth a detour! It’s free so even if you just need to get out of the car to stretch your legs, it makes for the perfect fall stroll.
