Boone Tavern Hotel
Although we’ve visited Berea several times, this was our first time to stay at Boone Tavern. Built in 1909 and renovated 100 years later for the next century of travelers, Boone Tavern is owned and operated by Berea College. Our king room was comfy, clean and well-appointed. The Tavern is a LEED Gold Certified Green Hotel, and they even offer guests complimentary bike usage as a green way to explore the town.
There are also packages curated for your stay as well. For example, there is the bourbon tasting package or the Berea hiking package, where they will pack your lunch in a Boone Tavern cinch sack. Berea is one of Kentucky’s designated Trail Towns. There are miles of hiking and biking trails, which includes the well-known trail to the Pinnacles.
