Boone Tavern’s Restaurant

We enjoyed two meals at Boone Tavern’s Restaurant during our recent stay. 

We started dinner with their famous spoonbread served with blackberry mint butter and orange butter, and trout cakes, plated with a remoulade sauce; continued with salads, enjoyed salmon and scallops as our mains, and finished with the bourbon butter cake. Every bite was delicious – we so enjoyed the farm fresh salads and veggies with our meals. Summertime is a lovely season of food here. 

Don’t worry, we have had their Signature Chicken Flakes in a Bird’s Nest for lunch!

The breakfast at Boone Tavern’s Restaurant provides a variety of southern staples as well as more modern breakfast go-to’s! We went more traditional with their Tavern Breakfast and also biscuits and gravy.

They also offer chia pudding and buckwheat banana hotcakes. We will probably try those next time.
