Bunny Flat – Mount Shasta

Bunny Flat provided some of the best views during our time in Mount Shasta. The parking area and campground sit right at the base of the mountain, and since it’s already up in elevation, you get sweeping views of the landscape below.

The trail here serves as a starting point for those looking to summit the mountain. There is also an option to hike to the Sierra Club Horse Camp and a few other destinations. Even if you aren’t looking to hike or camp, it’s a great spot to take in the views of this part of California. Wander around, have a seat on the bench, and take it all in.
