The Carousel Bar & Lounge

The Carousel Bar & Lounge is an experience to be had in New Orleans! This circular bar, located in the Hotel Monteleone, has been open since 1949 and looks and moves like a carousel. Don’t worry, it is very slow. There is a small food menu and a large drink menu. The line for this place is really insane if you are wanting to sit on the actual moving carousel since there are a limited number of seats. We recommend getting there when they open for lunch for a little bit of a smaller wait. If you don’t want to sit at the bar, there are seats around it that you can get to with much less of a wait.
