Eating In and Around Folly Beach

Shrimp and lobster are common offerings on the East Coast, but we also tasted delicious citrus chicken tacos and an epic fried chicken sandwich at BLU, the oceanfront bar & grill in the Tides Folly Beach hotel. I had a delicious bowl of peel-and-eat shrimp at Rita’s Seaside Grille where I’m pretty sure I shimmied in my seat so happy to be indulging in fresh shrimp! On our last evening, we ventured into the French Quarter of Charleston for dinner at Rudy Royale’s where we decided to try a smorgasbord – fried pickles, chicken pot pie, the skirt steak special, and a variety of potato sides. All delish! And most every night we ended with a cup brimming full of frozen yogurt and/or ice cream from Dolce Banana Café.
