El Mazatlan

El Mazatlan (El Maz to the locals) is a Mexican restaurant in Munfordville, Kentucky that is SO well loved. Before local events, after ball games or church, on a lunch break, for birthdays or date night – the list goes on of when residents visit El Maz for a meal or celebration. Even when the dining room is packed, the service is always top notch.

Cheese dip is always a must-have starter. Popular among menu items are the Chicken Chef Special, Taco Salad, and Chori Chicken. Some of our favorites are the Tropical Fajitas, Bartley Bowl, Chimichanga, and Burrito Real. Be sure to save room for dessert too!

An awesome option when visiting Munfordville is ordering to-go and having a picnic at Green River Park and Arboretum. There are picnic tables and plenty of space to spread a blanket. It is a beautiful park on the banks of the Green River – you can read more about it here.
