Eli & Trix

This newly opened upscale hangout boasts brunch, lunch, and dinner, locally roasted organic fair-trade coffee, the best dining patio for people watching on Main Street, a full bar, and plenty of vegetarian options! This is one of those spots where you can casually have a drink on the deck post-beach day or dress up for date night and dine inside in the upscale atmosphere. It’s clear that every detail was considered during its recent renovations from the sleek leather furniture to the moody mural on the walls. We loved it even more after discovering the name is a loving nod to the former owners of the space, Eli and his wife Trix. They owned a diner style restaurant that closed after Eli passed away a few years ago. It’s always special when the history of the building isn’t forgotten. 

We ended up there twice during our trip, once for brunch and once for a tapas style dinner. Everything we had was fresh beyond fresh! Don’t skip this spot while you’re in Mahone Bay!
