Staying at the Haunted Parks-Bowman Mansion

Park-Bowman Mansion is a beautiful home is in the Garden District, away from the French Quarter action, and surrounded by other picturesque homes. The mansion has 3 bedrooms that you are able to rent out – The Library, The Haunted Bedroom, and The Red Room. We have stayed in The Haunted Bedroom, which is said to be one of the most haunted Airbnbs in the country with various stories from guests backing this up. Nothing happened to us, but it added to the fun. We had our own bedroom and bathroom, and shared common spaces. The home is filled with eclectic artwork that really plays to the New Orleans vibe. There is a pool and balconies to be enjoyed. We took advantage of the fact that it is within walking distance from the Buckner Mansion, also known as the Coven House on season 3 of American Horror Story. Our host was kind, we chatted with her on the porch a few times. At the time we’re writing this, The Haunted Bedroom has a whopping 4.9 stars on Airbnb with 570 reviews. This was a lovely stay that felt very New Orleans. We would love to go back and stay in the Library Room so maybe catch us back here on another road trip?
