Hidden River Cave

Hidden River Cave is an oasis in the middle of Horse Cave, Kentucky. It is home to the world’s longest underground suspension bridge and the beautiful Sunset Dome.

In 1867, famed naturalist John Muir called this cave “a noble gateway to the birthplace of springs and fountains and the dark treasures of the mineral kingdom.”

You can make a reservation to take a wild off-trail cave adventure or keep it tame with the hour-long tour. The American Cave Museum is included for free no matter what you choose. Call ahead and find out when they are rappelling for even more fun!

Not only are they open year-round, but they’re also pet-friendly! No need to leave your furry friends at home for this road trip!
