Hotel Genevieve

The Hotel Genevieve has been a hub for a few trips we’ve taken to the NULU neighborhood of Louisville. We always appreciate Genevieve’s easy vibe, central location to all fun things, and their impeccable accommodations. Plus, their robes!! Putting on their fun robes, with fabric patterned after the beloved Appalachian quilt, are worth the entire stay – what a hoot!

We have enjoyed night caps and bedtime snacks fireside in the outdoor spaces of the Bar Genevieve – those views are pretty great so don’t miss that experience if you stay with them. The bar is also open to the public, with its own streetside elevator if lodging is not something you need. 

Two things we will go back to experience are: a meal at Byrdie’s, a Michelin star chef owned restaurant at the hotel; and a hidden speakeasy called Jimmy Can’t Dance. We aren’t sure why they wanted to pick on Jimmy.
