Julian’s Patisserie

We enjoyed a lovely outdoor breakfast at Julian’s Patisserie on a warm summer morning.

As soon as we walked in, our eyes went straight to the counter, where rows of baked goods were displayed. Julian’s is known for their crepes, so we went with The Cali and the Lemon Blueberry – because we always have to try both a sweet and a savory. We also ordered a yogurt bowl, a cheese Danish, and a cappuccino to round it all out.

We found a seat on their patio and waited for breakfast to arrive.

The food blew us away! I’ll admit I’m usually not a huge fan of crepes, but these were truly delicious. The Cali was the perfect combo of chicken, bacon, tomato, avocado, and cheese. The Lemon Blueberry crepe was full of tart lemon curd and big fresh blueberries – it was fantastic. The yogurt bowl came topped with fresh fruit and crunchy granola, and the cappuccino was perfectly classic.

We’d absolutely return to Julian’s Patisserie. It’s just over the bridge from Historic Folsom, making it a great stop if you’re out exploring the area.

Cheers!
