Kentucky Black Trailblazers: A New Way to Experience History
Kentucky Black Trailblazers is a new immersive experience for those visiting and living in Kentucky to learn about influential black figures in and beyond the state! It is a first-of-its-kind augmented reality journey that seeks to inspire, educate, and celebrate. There are 19 locations that can be found across 6 counties, including Shelby. When visiting, users are able to see and hear stories from figures. We visited Whitney M. Young Jr. in Simpsonville. It is a really cool way to learn about history.
Along with Shelby County, locations can be found in Louisville, Elizabethtown, Oldham County, Bullitt County, and Bardstown. Get more information on this exciting new encounter at kentuckyblacktrailblazers.com. We are excited to check out more of them!
