Mountain Farm Museum

We love a good outdoor museum, and the Mountain Farm Museum did not disappoint. The Museum’s collection of log structures includes a farmhouse, barn, smokehouse, applehouse, corn crib and other interesting spots, like the hog pen. Our time here was rainy, but still lovely.  The Museum is positioned along the banks of the Oconaluftee River, inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park at 1194 Newfound Gap Road, Cherokee in North Carolina.
