Mud Puddle Pottery Co.

We found The Mud Puddle Pottery Co. to be as charming as its name – and the funnest place to play. 

With a combination of whimsy and inspiration, it’s easy to lose time in creation and conversation. They offer mugs, seasonal items, plates, platters, critters, tea pots, and SO many pieces of pottery to paint.  The truly toughest thing is just choosing a piece. Their “bar” is full of paints, speciality glazes, brushes and samples. Their workspaces are comfortable, spacious and the perfect space to unleash your creativity. 

Once your painting is done – they take it from there. After completely drying, they coat in a clear glaze, allow that to completely dry and then fire it in a kiln for several hours. As you can see from some of our photos – the finished pieces from others are creative, beautiful, and just plain fun!

They offer group reservations and walk-ins. They are open Tuesday-Sunday in the sweetest little downtown building. We’d recommend allowing yourself a couple of hours for this bright stop!
