Nemo Tunnel Chalets

The Nemo Tunnel Chalets were secluded, peaceful, well-appointed and such a surprisingly wonderful place to enjoy time with family. Part of the reason for this road trip was to connect with family who were coming in from a few different places. The outdoor spaces at the chalet made this a joy. The indoor spaces also gave us comfy places to land for conversations and meals. 

The chalet we chose had a large outdoor patio with seating and a grill as well. We spent hours there talking and catching up with family. The kitchen indoors was perfect for real cooking. We ended up with balsamic glazed chicken over rice and some bread we had nabbed up from the block party in downtown Wartburg the night before. 

One not to be missed outdoor moment is coffee and tea on the backporch with the sun rising through the woods. So perfect. There’s a photo in our album of this – doesn’t even do it justice. 

These chalets were secluded yet right in the middle of all of the adventure to be had in this part of Tennessee.
