Olde Mulkey Meetinghouse State Historic Site

After spending time in the town of Tompkinsville, we spent some of our afternoon at the Old Mulkey Meeting House State Park. The 200 year old meetinghouse came alive and told its own history and we loved that part of the “history lesson.” It is the oldest freestanding log meetinghouse in the state. We also enjoyed the Jackson Trail through the woods. The staff there know their park, so make sure you stop by the welcome center as well.
