One More Chapter Bookstore

In the heart of downtown Cave City, Kentucky, One More Chapter Bookstore invites road-trippers and casual readers alike to pause, browse, and discover something new. 

When we stopped we were instantly greeted by Taylor, the owner, and it was obvious that this “third place” she’s creating is an extension of who she is. 

The shop is located in an older mercantile building and the windows were literally built to dress. We were there during October and the floating candles and book pages were fluttering about to spin up all of the spooky vibes. It did feel a bit like magic! 

The shop is beautifully kept with a great selection and still open airy spaces to gather to talk about your favorite new reads. 

They offer book clubs to be joined and a curated mix of genres — with a special emphasis on fantasy and romance. When I stumbled upon the cozy fantasy section, Taylor was ready to explain the bones of this new-to-me genre.
