Farmer & Frenchman Winery

Fly to Farmer & Frenchman

This charming winery, nestled in Kentucky farmland, will surprise you.  We went for lunch on a Thursday summer afternoon and were wowed.

Let’s start with the atmosphere, as all good experiences do. The drive into the farm set the stage, the chicken run & vegetable garden adjacent to the cafe – adding the promise of freshness.

We chose seating outside and were sampling wine in no time!  The food rolled out in perfect stages. We chose salad options, mussels, bread and an entree each.

The tomato and burrata

They offer indoor and outdoor seating, as well as reservable venue space. The vines are beautifully stroll-able  with guest cabins nearby.

Mussels

Until this trip, our favorite winery has been Monteluce in the northern mountains of Georgia.  So now, we have a favorite winery in each state.

We found the food, the wine, the atmosphere – all perfect. To learn more about the area, head over to our friends at the the Henderson Tourist Commission
