Snowshoe Village

Snowshoe Village is simply incredible. So many wonderful dining options for every taste and style! Over 10 different ways to go. We tried the Cheat Mountain Pizza restaurant…and it was fantastic. Village Pub took care of us for a late lunch next day with sushi for Lyssa and prime rib sandwich for me. They even have an ice cream shop! Pub food, cantina style, steaks, etc. A foodies delight.

The shopping is robust, over half a dozen well stocked ski boutiques with the absolute latest and best in gear and apparel: North Face, Helly Hansen, Burton, Spyder, and more! Everything you need to look and feel like a pro on the slopes.

When the sun goes down, the Village lights up and it is so charming, and Saturday night we were treated to a ‘TOP 5” sunset we have ever witnessed!! We asked some of the staff about it and they said they may be biased, but apparently, these epic sunsets happen frequently in the mountains at Snowshoe and are regarded as the best, anywhere. The power of nature! Very romantic!
