Southern food but in Sacramento: The Porch Restaurant and Bar
The Porch has delicious Southern food and an elegant dining room in Midtown, Sacramento. Southerners will appreciate that they have true Southern sweet tea – yes, it is actually sweet! We had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy, and the Brisket Meatloaf that was served on top of mashed potatoes and smothered in gravy with a side of corn on the cob. Both entrees came with delectable buttery biscuits. Our waiter, Brandon, was exceptionally kind and attentive. We recommend using the L Street parking garage because parking can be tricky in this area. We highly recommend trying it out! Cheers!
