Ted’s Bakery

Ted’s Bakery is an island icon and home of our favorite dessert during 10 days of island hopping and road tripping. Year after year since 2016 they have been awarded “Hawai’i’s Best” in food and dining, specifically for their famous for the Chocolate Haupia Pie, and boy oh boy we see why. We arrived around lunch, ordering two of their all-day breakfast sandwiches – the spam, egg, and cheese, and potato, egg, bacon – and an assortment of treats – the chocolate haupia, strawberry filled glazer, and roulade. The breakfast sandwiches were so good mainly thanks to the delicious homemade rolls they were served on and the chocolate haupia topped the charts for one of our favorite desserts – just wow. The joint was buzzing with locals and tourists alike during our visit, most enjoying their lunch with a slice of pie. We would definitely recommend a traveling to the north shore for a visit to Ted’s Bakery during your time on Oahu.
