The Campanile Clock Tower

According to UC Berkeley, the Campanile (Sather Tower) is the second tallest freestanding clock and bell tower in the world – and it’s a must-see when visiting campus. On a recent trip to Berkeley, we took the elevator up (for a small admission fee) and were rewarded with sweeping views of the entire campus and bay. It’s a peaceful place to pause, soak in the scenery, and spot landmarks like the Greek Theatre – even if you don’t have time to explore them all up close. If you find yourself in Berkeley, this quick stop is definitely worth it!
