The Hive Coffee & Bakehouse

The Hive Coffee & Bakehouse is the newest coffee shop Glasgow. It is located on the corner of the square in a gorgeous renovated building with large windows. The Hive actually started as a coffee truck – you will find some of the same classic flavors on the menu, such as their Mustang Sally, a latte with sea salt and caramel, as well as some new additions and seasonal flavors.

We of course have sampled some items from their pastry case. We were lucky that they had a Sweet Potato Pie Croissant during one of our visits – absolutely delicious. The macaroons are pretty tasty, too!

The Hive is in a nice large space with a loft so there’s plenty of seating. Plus, they are connected to Nadine West Book Company! We love a good coffee shop, bookstore combo.
