The Island at Pigeon Forge

The Island in Pigeon Forge ended up being one of those stops where we stayed longer than we meant to and we’re glad we did. Between the food, the shopping, and the rides, it really is a little destination of its own at the foothills of the Smokies.

The fountain is magic—you can’t help but stopping to watch.

Next up for our crew were the toddler appropriate rides, which included Island FARM’n where you “drive” tractors on a track and the Flying Horse Carousel. We opted not to the the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel this time – but will definitely be back to ride another time.
