The Lodge at Mammoth Cave
The New Lodge at Mammoth Cave National Park
After going through recent renovations, The Lodge at Mammoth Cave is open and more beautiful than ever. A vaulted wood ceiling greets visitors on both sides of the lodge and welcomes them inside for food, rest, coffee, and shopping.

In the Fall of 2025, The Lodge also opened Family Cabins! Accommodating 8-10 comfortably – with two queen bedrooms, a pull out couch, and a loft with four twin beds – we were amazed at the thoughtfulness of design. Every square inch feeling both purposeful and spacious at once, just like our National Parks.
The living room shares an open space with the dining room table and full kitchen. All of this was just an open door away from the patio with table seating as well, a shared fire pit was also nearby, just waiting for those late night conversations about your Mammoth Cave adventures.

The Lantern Cafe is inside The Lodge and is now open! One of their specialty items is the Mammoth Pretzel. It is mammoth-sized! They also offer pizza, burgers, wraps, hot dogs, pulled pork, and typically 8 different rotating seasonal flavors of local ice cream from Chaney’s Dairy.
You will also find the Green River Grill, a local favorite sit down restaurant, and Maple Springs Coffee and Gift Shop, proudly serving Starbucks Coffee.

Lodging options include:
Family cabins
Historic and Woodland Cottages – open seasonally
Terrace rooms – well-appointed rooms reminiscent of the classic mid-century motor lodge
Four ADA rooms in The Lodge
