The Touristy Things To Do in L.A.
The touristy things are fun. The Walk of Fame is lined with neat shops, including a cool vintage clothing store. If you don’t want to walk it, there are a variety of guided tours that allow you to ride around the area. Guided tours always end up being one of our favorite things we do on trips because you get to see and learn so much in a short amount of time that I think they are almost always worth the money! In L.A. we took an open bus tour that not only drove us through the Walk of Fame, but also took us through Beverly Hills to see celebrity homes, Rodeo Drive to see the collection of high-end shops, and down the Sunset Strip for some iconic Rock-n-Roll spots.
The Griffith Observatory in Griffith Park is our favorite L.A. location. The view of the city is stunning, the architecture is stunning, and the surrounding nature is stunning. You can see the Hollywood sign here and there are trails that you can use to hike all the way to it. This is the perfect place for a sunset picnic!
The Venice Beach Boardwalk is another little fun thing that you can see in just a short amount of time, and then put your feet in the water and take some time to hang out in the sand. From Venice, you can head to Santa Monica. There is tons of shopping there and the Santa Monica Pier. This is another beautiful place to watch the sunset!
Los Angeles is a great place to sight-see! Enjoy!
