The Victorian House

The Victorian House was like a fun breath of fresh air. Located in Greensburg, Kentucky, The Victorian House is a bakery and cafe filled with kind people and delicious eats.

We stopped here for lunch one day after it was recommended by a friend, and what a great recommendation it was. We were greeted with kindness as soon as we stepped in the door that continued throughout our visit.

We went with Grana’s Grilled Chicken Sandwich which was served with chips and a pickle. This looked like a basic chicken sandwich but let us tell you, it was not. It was SO GOOD.

With a pastry case this looked that good, we had to snag some goodies to-go. They had some really divine looking treats like a honeybun cake, lemon blueberry cake, butterscotch pie, peanut butter pie, and so much more. We had heard that the strawberry cupcakes were very scrumptious so we ended up grabbing a couple of those and a couple of chocolate ones, as well. We can confirm that they are both amazing.

We could tell how much thought went into designing the space from the white chocolate cake recipe written on the wall to the family photos on the shelf and the retro van that serves as their counter. It is so fun. They also have a shopping space in the front of the building.
