The Wooden Casket

We wouldn’t have ever thought we’d suggest a road trip to see a casket maker, but gosh, you should stop by and meet the Watsons of The Wooden Casket if you find yourself near Tompkinsville, Kentucky. They are the first business in Kentucky to be certified by the Green Burial Council for their products. Their open door was welcoming and the smell of the wood being worked was such an invitation. The hand-woven basket-inspired casket was gorgeous, as were many others in the store.
