Vegas Dining on a Long Weekend

We set ourselves up for success each day in Vegas with a big, late breakfast – really more of a brunch – at Café Americano in the Paris Las Vegas Hotel. They were some of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had: cooked to order, delicious, and incredibly satisfying. In fact, they were so filling that we skipped lunch most days and didn’t miss it at all.

With one glorious exception.

During a shopping trip to the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, we treated ourselves to an incredible “power lunch” at The Palm. The restaurant gives off classic Vegas and old Hollywood vibes, and if you order from the three-course Power Lunch menu, you’ll feel like old-school Vegas royalty. I went with the Chicken Parmesan while Lyssa chose the grilled shrimp – both fantastic.

Dinner each night was its own special experience. On Friday, we headed to Eataly at Park MGM for La Pizza & La Pasta, which was outstanding. Then on Saturday, we had another classic Vegas moment at Jack Binion’s Steakhouse.

I ordered the $49.99 unlimited prime rib special, and it was pure heaven.

Fortunately, Jack Binion’s is located in the Horseshoe Casino, which is attached to Paris. That meant we were able to waddle back to our room – completely stuffed with prime rib and great memories.

It’s a must-dine when you’re in Vegas.
