Zachary’s Restaurant

We loved our breakfast at Zachary’s. It was a cool summer morning, and we grabbed a spot outside under the patio heaters. As we waited for our food, we sipped on cups of their locally roasted coffee.

We ordered the French toast made with their signature oatmeal-molasses bread (so good!) and Zach’s Old Fashioned – three poached eggs on a fresh herb roll, topped with a cream sauce and chopped bacon. Every bite was absolutely delicious.

The vibe was just as great as the food. The staff was super great, which made the whole experience even better.

Since Zachary’s is right in Downtown Santa Cruz, we took a nice stroll through the nearby shops after breakfast. It was the perfect way to start the day and we’d definitely go back.
