Chattanooga, Tennessee
Birthplace of the Moon Pie and home to the classic Chattanooga Choo Choo, this town makes a refreshingly unique roadtrip destination. We have roadtripped to Chatt before for concerts (Thanks The 1975) and aquarium visits, coffees in cafes, and more. Our one regret is that we have not stopped yet to “See Rock City” which is 1000% on our to-do list for the next time we are driving through.
Chattanooga grew up along the banks of the Tennessee River. The Walnut Street Bridge, built in 1890, is now one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world. Don’t miss meandering across it or just enjoying a panoramic view of it and the mountains that surround the city.
