Journals / Quintana Roo / Falling for Isla Mujeres
Isla Mujeres has a way of making you slow down without even realizing it. Maybe it’s the golf carts zipping along palm tree-lined roads, the turquoise water that looks too perfect to be real, or the fact that everyone’s operating on island time (no, seriously). Whatever it is, this little slice of paradise off of the coast of Cancún charms you the second you step off the ferry.
It may be small, but don’t let that fool you, you’ll need more than a day to soak it all in. Between the postcard-worthy beaches, cliffside walking trails, buzzing local restaurants, and breezy beach bars, there’s way too much here to rush through.
Here’s how to make the most of it!
