Lake Tahoe is a stunning, crystal-clear alpine lake. California and Nevada share the 191 square miles of the lake. It is surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains and is a destination hotspot in both the summer and winter seasons. Whether you’re paddling board, skiing, hiking, or snow tubing, the outdoor activities are abundant. Wildlife lovers will not be disappointed here. Black bears, bald eagles, and various birds enjoy the area as much as the tourists. Little towns are dotted around the lake with restaurants, lodging, and shopping.
