Leiper’s Fork is one of our favorite stops in Tennessee. Located just outside of Franklin, the teeny town has never disappointed us. The main drag is located on a strip of Old Hillsboro Road and nothing veers very far from it. Along it you will find locally owned shops, art galleries, and places to grab a bite to eat and drink. There are spots to dip your toes in the creek and benches tucked under shady trees. Most of the businesses are open Thursday through Sunday with the weekend’s being extra busy. We love it as a day trip and it can be easily paired with a visit to Franklin. If you’re a fan of antiques, quaint towns, or just a lover of the south, add Leiper’s Fork to your road trip list.
