Dinosaur World, Kentucky

Yes, no matter what age, we suggest making a stop at Dinosaur World. Think of it as a whimsical hike, with some legit educational components and of course – lots of fun. Over 150 life-sized dinosaurs can be found on the trails!
They have recently opened an impressive new animatronic exhibit that we highly suggest checking out. If you’re interested in more on that, we spoke with the park director, Chris Randall, on the Roadtripzee Podcast where he told us all about it.
Aside from the fact that this is a playground for all ages, some other aspects that we love about the park is that upon entering you get a wristband that allows you to come and go as you please for the whole day, and that they allow pets and food.
Last fall, Dinosaur World transformed their normal environment of roaming dinosaurs into the Scare-o-saurus Spooktacular! Think skeletons and assorted fun while encountering all of these prehistoric pals. We loved the skeletons walking their dinosaurs on leashes and even those getting rides on their giant friends.
It is family friendly fun and don’t forget the boneyard, playground, and train ride. Plus the mini-golf course is free for every admission and we hear there is an animatronic dinosaur hiding somewhere, see if you can find it!
Dinosaur World is open year round and you can find their current information here.
