Orlando, Florida
Since it opened in 1971, Walt Disney World has grown physically and in the hearts of families all over the world. The property covers approximately 25,000 acres – of which half has been developed into four parks, two water parks, a sports complex and the shopping/eating complex, Disney Springs.
Through the years we have visited every place in the World and have now settled into our trips revolving almost exclusively around the four major theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.
Our roadtrippers do believe Disney World is the “Happiest Place on Earth” when everyone stays cool, rested and relaxed. There is lots of strategy to remaining chill in everyway. For us, we prefer cooler months and not pushing to do every single thing in one day. We always purchase Disney Genie for the day and work it the best we can.
Our NUMBER ONE TIP for everyone staying positive each day in the Park is scheduling a sit down meal in the middle of the day’s adventures!
This gives everyone a comfortable place to sit and relax while enjoying delicious food. Then you can emerge from the break amped up for more adventure! Also, we don’t really park hop, with the exception of perhaps swinging from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT on the Skyliner.
